DE LA PARTOUSE FIGARO FAQUYR is the epitome of the little iron horse: 14.3 hh, large excellent feet, strong hindquarters, lovely arched neck with a clean throat latch, broad in the chest and powerful shoulder. For a smaller – yet powerful – Canadian horse, he exhibits long strides with smooth, fluid movement and no “paddling”. Faquyr is a true, non-fading black. One visitor to the farm in 2009 draped her arms around his neck and wouldn’t let go! She remarked over and over “I can’t believe he’s a stallion, he’s so quiet!” Yes, Faquyr loves attention too: a true Canadian Horse!!

Faquyr is a proven producer whose foals have won several show awards.

• Racicot Faquyr Sybelle – 1st as filly of calendar year (pictured below right at 2 years)

Faquyr is available at stud to a limited number of outside mares for a fee of $500. Mare care is $7/day.
