Our first foal in two years is here!! Jessy delivered another colt late on Saturday night, May 8th. We haven’t named him yet but his registered name will be “Pendennis Faquyr X_____”. This little guy is a full brother to Uno. He’s not shy and seems to enjoy being scratched. Heidi is due soon as well, likely next week. Unfortunately, it is now apparent that Betty is not in foal so we will breed her this year and try for 2011, probably her last foal.

Jay was admired by many visitors to the Royal Winter Fair in Brandon Saturday, April 3rd 2010 and happily and patiently withstood all the petting from children and adults alike in the pen at the Rare Breeds Canada booth. He was a great ambassador for the Canadian Horse breed!

Pendennis Canadians will be a busy place once again this spring with the anticipated arrival of three foals: from Betty, Heidi and Jessy. Will Heidi (or Jessy) produce another chestnut? Will we be so fortunate as to get (any)more fillies? Watch this page in May for pictures and stories of the new arrivals!!
